Freedom Fire offers you three unique departments in the fire protection industry working together acting as one company. Many building owners will use three different vendors to achieve all their life safety inspections. Emile is a versatile leader with over 30 years of business experience, known for his strong work ethic, sharp sense of humor, and passion for teamwork. Whether he's cheering on his favorite teams, riding his snowmobile, or leading Freedom Fire, he brings dedication, adaptability, and a commitment to excellence. Emile consistently turns challenges into opportunities, fosters a collaborative work environment, and upholds the highest standards of quality and customer service—making him a driving force in the fire suppression industry.
Mike Webster | General Manager
Mike Webster began his fire safety career in 2000 as a suppression and extinguisher service technician, quickly rising through the ranks thanks to his dedication and leadership. He later advanced into supervisory and management roles, continually investing in his professional development, including earning a diploma in Advanced Management, Leadership and Strategy from the Asper School of Business. Joining Freedom Fire in 2022, Mike has become a valued leader known for fostering a positive work environment and mentoring others. Outside of work, he is a devoted family man who enjoys golfing and appreciates a balanced, fulfilling life.
Kevin Lawrence | Managing Partner Fire Alarm Manager
Kevin Lawrence is Freedom Fire’s Fire Alarm Manager, bringing over 20 years of industry experience and a strong technical background to everything he does. Widely regarded as a go-to expert for fire alarm installation within the industry, Kevin is known for his practical expertise, creative problem-solving, and commitment to quality. A dedicated leader in the Canadian Fire Alarm Association, Kevin helps mold the future of the trade—all while balancing his professional passion with an appreciation for craft beer and local restaurants.
Eric Wall | Sprinkler Manager
Eric leads Freedom’s Sprinkler Department with over 15 years of fire protection experience, having worked his way up from sprinkler fitter to service technician and now manager. With a background in agriculture and a strong old-fashioned “can-do” attitude, he’s known for his work ethic, problem-solving skills, and commitment to delivering top-quality solutions. Outside of work, Eric enjoys time with his family and tending to his farm—reflecting the same dedication in both his professional and personal life.
Inderpal Rehill | Fire Alarm Service Manager
Meet Inderpal, the driving force behind Freedom Fire’s Fire Alarm Service department. A Red River project management graduate with over 15 years in the fire protection industry, he has grown from fire alarm technician to seasoned leader. Known for his strong problem-solving skills and deep technical expertise, Inderpal brings smart, reliable solutions to every challenge. With him at the helm, you can trust Freedom Fire to deliver the very best in fire alarm service and approach.
Justin Smith | Sprinkler Design & Project Management
Justin is a proud Winnipeg resident originally from Newfoundland with over 19 years of experience as a sprinkler fitter. He began his career in Alberta working on complex systems in Grand Prairie and has since become a specialist in foam systems and special hazard releasing systems. A true multitasker, Justin expertly develops code required efficient sprinkler system designs, and ensures projects stay on time and on budget. Outside of work, he’s an avid hockey player and a dedicated community coach in both hockey and soccer, bringing leadership and passion to everything he does.
Louise Jolicoeur | Office Administrator
Meet Louise — a true problem solver who makes things work no matter the challenge. At Freedom Fire, she’s your go-to for all accounting items, bringing meticulous attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to impeccable workplace grammar. She also generously volunteers her time at Siloam Mission and Victoria Hospital, driven by her love of staying busy and helping others.
Leanne Seafoot | Administrative Supervisor
Leanne is the heart and soul of Freedom Fire as our Administrative Supervisor. With over 15 years of coordinating experience in the service industry, she brings exceptional multitasking skills, a warm smile, and a consistently positive attitude to every interaction. As one of the key points of contact for our customers and organizer for our service technicians, Leanne’s expertise and dedication make her an invaluable part of our team and the outstanding service we provide.
Ian Northwood | Suppression & Portables Supervisor
Ian is the Suppression & Portable Department Supervisor at Freedom Fire. With over 15 years experience Ian is dedicated, reliable and known for his commitment to excellence, team support, and ensuring high standards across the suppression division. Outside of work, Ian is a devoted husband and father who spends much of his personal time coaching his sons’ hockey teams throughout the winter—and even into the summer months. He also enjoys making the most of the outdoors during the warmer seasons.
Karen Riddell | Collections
Karen is the friendly voice our clients hear when it’s time to stay on top of their payments. With exceptional organizational skills and a strong work ethic, she now focuses solely on managing collections for our client base, no longer scheduling technicians. Alongside her outstanding customer service, Karen is also known for her impressive culinary talents outside the office.
Chris Finley | Project Specialist, Warehouse and IT Lead
Chris is the organizational backbone of Freedom Fire’s parts, inventory, and project support as well as internal IT lead. A Red River College Network Technician graduate, he brings a technical, systems-focused approach that has quickly improved material tracking, organization, and project preparation. As the go-to contact for parts and suppliers, Chris ensures the right materials are sourced accurately and efficiently. His reliability, problem-solving mindset, and dedication to supporting the field make him an indispensable member of the team.
